Confirm the exact asset
Why asset confirmation exists and how to correct a wrong guess.
After every capture, Ticker AI shows an Asset Confirmation sheet. On-device text recognition suggests the ticker, exchange, quote currency and timeframe — but you have the last word.
Check each field
- Asset class — stock, ETF, crypto, forex, index, commodity, future or option.
- Ticker or pair — the exact symbol, e.g. AAPL, BTC-USD or EUR/USD.
- Exchange or venue — where the instrument trades.
- Quote currency — the currency the price is expressed in.
- Timeframe — 1m, 1h, 1D, 1W and so on, or 'unknown' if the chart doesn't say.
Tap any field to edit it. If Ticker AI's confidence is low, it tells you so and asks you to double-check before continuing.
If the asset can't be matched to live market data, you can still continue as an image-only analysis — Ticker AI will label it clearly and will not invent prices or news.
